Timothy Roger Dolfin, 44, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Saturday morning, January 22, 2022 at Community Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Indianapolis. Timothy was born on November 17, 1977 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Thomas and Linda (Meyer) Dolfin. On November 17, 2012, he married Heather Townsend.
Tim attended Church at the Crossing in Indianapolis and was passionate about his faith in Jesus Christ. Tim was a loving husband to his wife Heather and dad to his son Isaiah. Spending time with family was very important to Tim and he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews in the Indianapolis area and over the summer with his extended family at Sandy Pines Recreational Community in Michigan. Tim was a loyal friend and loved being with people. Prior to living in Indianapolis, Tim spent ten years living in Denton, Texas and attended Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. Tim was a very hardworking individual and one of the top Service Technicians at Bill Estes Toyota. Tim could be found cheering on his favorite sports teams, and he was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan. He will be remembered for his large personality and big hugs.
Tim’s passing was very sudden and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Heather (Townsend) Dolfin and son Isaiah; Parents, Tom and Linda Dolfin and brother Scott Dolfin of Grandville, MI; sister Lori (Adam) Bollier of Westfield; nephews, AJ, Luke, and Daniel Bollier; his Father and Mother-in-law, Estle Jr. and Sheila Townsend of Decatur; brother-in law Caleb (Erin) Townsend of Carmel and nieces and nephew, Nora, Grant, and Ayla Townsend.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, Decatur, with calling prior to service from 11:00-2:00 p.m. Pastor Kevin Stirratt will be officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:30 on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Church at the Crossing in Indianapolis. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:30-4:30. Pastor Jordan Davis officiating.
Preferred memorials are to Isaiah Dolfin Education Fund, checks payable to Heather Dolfin.
