Reed A. Roll, 60, of Decatur, IN passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Reed was born on December 26, 1960, in Fort Benning Georgia near Columbus, Georgia.
Reed was an administrative member and Sunday School teacher at New Hope Church for 12 years. He worked as a machine operator at Dolco for 40 years.
Survivors include a son, Mike and Sara Roll of Berne; daughter, Katrina and Joshua Tennyson of Decatur; daughter, Tiffany and Aaron Colclasure of Decatur; son, Richard and Shannon Roll of Decatur; brother, David and Susie Roll of Indianapolis, sister, Rebecca Andrews of Decatur, sister, Robin and Phillip Callow of Decatur, sister, Laura Lechleidner-Roll of Uniondale and brother, Phillip Roll of Kentucky; 11 grandchildren, Victoria, Bryan, Owen, Xzander, Kayley, Raiden, Kaleb, Shane, Alice, Aurora and Astrid; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Roll, brothers, Michael Roll, Robert Roll, and Patrick Roll, granddaughter, Natalie Roll, and two grandsons, Allen Roll and Axel Roll.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 1:00-7:00 p.m. at New Hope Church and an hour prior to service on Friday.
The funeral service will also be at New Hope Church on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Kevin August officiating.
Preferred memorials are to the Grandchildren’s Education Fund, checks payable to Michael Roll.
