Obituary

George W. Jacobs 78, of Decatur, passed away at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born in Adams County, IN, the son of the late Lawrence E. and Nettie L. (Smith) Jacobs. On November 26, 1961, he married Linda L. Wagner.

He was employed by Rae Magnet Wire for over 25 years.

George is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda L. Jacobs of Decatur; 2 sons, Christopher (Angela) Jacobs and G. Brian Jacobs both of Decatur; a daughter, Laura Jacobs of Indianapolis, 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

A Private Graveside Service will be held for the immediate family in the Decatur Cemetery on Monday, December 28, 2020.

Arrangements are being handled by Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
