Sue M. Bohlander, 65, of Decatur, died peacefully at home on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. She was born December 17, 1952 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Roy E. and Bonnie T. (Scheimann) Bohlander.
Sue attended her freshman and sophomore years of high school at Central Catholic in Ft. Wayne and graduated in 1971 from Bellmont H.S. in Decatur.
She was an avid reader and collector of books and was especially proud of her Bible Collection. She decorated beautiful cakes for special occasions. Sue was employed as a machine operator at CTS in Berne for 23 years. Other employers included Quality One and Berne Tube.
Sue was a loving and caring daughter, sister and aunt. She gave freely of herself and all of her possessions. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her parents, Roy and Bonnie Bohlander of Decatur; sisters, Ann Bohlander of Decatur and Kay (Tony) Fry of Decatur, OH; a brother, Roy Edward Bohlander, Jr. of Willshire, OH; niece, Mindy Bohlander and nephews, Jeff Roop, Justin Roop and Billy Fry; great niece, Moon and great nephews, Daniel, James, River and Shadow.
The Holy Rosary will be recited at 12:40 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, immediately followed by a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Father David Ruppert will be officiating and burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
