Obituary

Teresa J. (Shaffer) Gage, 56, of Decatur, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born in Decatur, IN, on February 24, 1965, the daughter of Harlen E. and Patsy A. (Miller) Shaffer, they survive in Decatur.

She graduated from Bellmont High School, Class of 1983, and was the manager of Circle B Campground at Hogback Lake, in Angola.

Teresa loved animals and had 2 dogs, Shiloh & Rico. She enjoyed the outdoors and going to the casino with her son.

She is survived by her son Joshua Gage of Fort Wayne; 2 sisters, Laura J. (Gary) Pinney and Kelly J. Miller both of Decatur; a grandson, Rylan H. Gage; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home. Pastor Samuel Padgett will be officiating. Burial will take place in the Decatur Cemetery, at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the family.
