Sharon K. Gonzalez, 70, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021, at Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 20, 1950, in Bluffton, IN, the daughter of the late Douglas and Dicey Ann (McDonald) Ginger. She married Joe Gonzalez on May 6, 1967.

She was a member of Mt. Victory United Brethren Church. She worked in Administration for the City of Decatur.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joe Gonzalez of Decatur; 2 sons, David (Tricia) Gonzalez and Joshua (Cindy) Gonzalez both of Decatur; 2 daughters, Shelly (Troy) Gerke of Monroe and Teresa Etzler of Decatur; half-sister, Beth Ann Reinhart of Preble; 2 sisters, Dena Shaffer of Butler and Debbie Wiegman of Preble; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill and 2 sisters, Bev and Phyllis.

A Private Funeral Service was held for the immediate family at Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
