Robert Joseph Koishor Jr., 60, of Decatur, IN; passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020 at his home. He was born on April 21, 1959, in Highland, Illinois to Robert and Sandra (Kaufmann) Koishor.
Bob was a jet mechanic for over 40 years. He took pride in the time he served on the USS Kittyhawk during the Iranian Hostage Crisis. He enjoyed watching Baseball (San Diego Padres), and having a good time.
Bob is survived by his wife, Joetta (Wolfe) Koishor of Decatur; his children, daughter, Jennifer Henry of Royerton, IN; son, Michael (Holly) Koishor of Spanaway, WA; son, Jeffery Koishor of Ramona, CA; daughter, Stephanie Koishor of Edmond, OK; stepson, Ryan Muhlenkamp of Berne, IN; stepdaughter, Erin (Brandon) Bercot of Petroleum, IN; stepson, Andrew Muhlenkamp of Geneva, IN; brother, Bill (Dee) Koishor of Redwood Valley, CA; sisters, Rebecca Dwyer of Highland, IL, Bethany (Dane) Fricker of Lancaster, CA and Michele (Chris) Patterson of Temecula, CA; 6 grandchildren, Jadon and Taylor Henry of Royerton, IN; McKenzie, Kaden and Kaylee Bercot of Petroleum, IN and Kinsley Koishor of Spanaway, WA; his mother and father in-law, Mary and Newman Clapp of Celina, OH and mother-in-law, Linda Wolfe of Ruskin, FL. Bob is also survived by Aunt’s and Uncle’s and several nieces and nephews.
Bobby died knowing that “The Blues Brothers” was the best movie ever and the “Duke” was a legend, John Lennon was the greatest “Beatle” and Hot Sauce could be added to anything.
Everyone who remembers him is asked to celebrate his life by raising a glass of their favorite drink in his memory. Also, he would hope that you do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for some unfortunate soul in his name.
Per Bob’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family’s convenience.
