William A. “Bill” Hain, 70, of Monroe, IN passed away at his home on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Bill was born in Adams County on March 19, 1948, to the late Bernard and Mary (Holthouse) Hain. On April 1, 1993, Bill married Cindy (Hoffman) Foreman.
Bill worked as a machinist. He was involved in the Decatur Pool League, where he was the captain of the Silverbacks; Eagles Lodge #2653 and the Elks Lodge #993. Bill served his country in the United States Navy. Bill also loved and adored his cats.
Bill is survived by his wife, Cindy Hain of Monroe; son, Dennis Hain of Decatur; step-son, Jess (Wendi) Foreman of Monroe; daughter, Lora Hain of Mahomet, IL; two sisters, Kathy Dayton of South Whitley and Terri (Joe) Mawhinney of San Diego, CA; mother-in-law, Shirley Hoffman of Decatur; brother-in-law, Milt (Lesley) Hoffman; two sister-in-laws, Diane (Randy) Murphy and Cheryl (Greg) Spaulding; six grandchildren, Jessica, Melissa, Joseph and Caleb Hain, Grant Small and Aidan Foreman; a great granddaughter, Thea.
Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral followed by a 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service. Military rites by American Legion Post 43 Color Guard.
