Myles E. Foreman, 71, of Decatur, IN passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Myles was born on September 25, 1947 to the late Donald E. and H. Lucille (Fisher) Foremen. On November 26, 1976, Myles married Jayne Jennings.
Myles attended St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. He had worked for Meyer Body Shop, Thunderbird Products and Strickler Trailer Sales. He served his country in the United States Army, where he served in Vietnam. Myles was also a certified body specialist, and a member of the American Legion Post #43.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jayne Foreman of Decatur; 2 daughters, Lori (Ron) Smitley of Decatur and Stephanie Foreman of Ohio; grandchildren, Veronica (Jason) Curtis of Decatur, Sarah (Ben) Harless of Northville, MI, Brooke (Ethan) Estabrook of Westfield, IN and Nick Foreman of Adams County; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Kyle Foreman of Ashley; a sister, Judy Plum of Decatur; his cat, Alex and dog, Sammy.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2019 At St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with calling from Noon-1:00 p.m. in the St. Mary’s Parish Hall. Military Rites by the American Legion Post #43 Color Guard.
