Helen “Jane” Studler 75 of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday December 23, 2017 at St. Anne Community in Fort Wayne. Jane was born on October 16, 1942 in Schenectady, NY to the late William and Helen (Bouck) Brown. She was raised in Meadville, PA.and graduated from meadville high school in 1960. She graduated from Purdue University in 1966 with a degree in interior design. Jane worked for Shrex in Fort Wayne numerous years and was an avid golfer. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary # 499, past member of Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile, and was the past Worthy President of the Social Order of the Beauceant.
Jane is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jon A. Studler of Fort Wayne, three daughters Dee M. Studler (husband Ron Mund) of Yorkville, IL., Irene J. (William) Marshal of Blacklick, OH., Roby L. (Chris) Kaufman of Fort Wayne, one brother David C. Brown of Scott Depot, WV., one sister Sue Bentley of Colorado Springs, CO., and four granddaughters Elizabeth M. Kaufman, Sarah M. Kaufman, Rebecca M. Kaufman, and Madeline J. Marshall. She was preceded in death by a brother William Brown.
Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday December 28th at Saint Anne Community (1900 Randallia Dr. Fort Wayne) from 12:30-1:30 pm followed by a Memorial service at 1:30. Fr. Thomas Shoemaker will be officiating.
Memorials may be given to Alzheimers Association of Greater Indiana Chapter thru Haggard Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
